The perfect vase or jug, hand built and finished in a frothy putty glaze with areas of the stoneware remaining to provide an abstract pattern. Made on the east coast of Spain, working under the name Asterisque, Estefania’s way of working is to make each piece completely by hand, without molds or a wheel, usually applying different textures and then experimental glazes that she prepares herself. Makers mark on the base.
